You know you’re going to break them…so why not get a jump on your New Year’s resolutions early? The Resolution Run 5K and 1M will circle Kellogg-Zaher Park on the Bonanza Trail in the beautiful desert twilight. The 10K will traverse Kellogg-Zaher Park, the Bonanza Trail, and Bill Briare Park. All events are open to walkers, families, strollers–everyone! Get ready for the night’s festivities with Elemental Running and Training!
**Special Note on Start Time**
Don’t worry about making all those holiday parties…you will have time! The raffle will be held before race start, and awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each race as they finish, so once you’re done running, grab your finisher award and head home to get showered and get to your parties!
Course Description
The 10K, 5K and 1M events follow an out-and-back course that starts and finishes in the east parking lot of Kellogg-Zaher Park.
Sunset is at 4:39pm, so runners will enjoy the natural fireworks of the desert sunset. There will be plenty of lighting and clear course markings to guide you through.

Online registration is available until midnight on Sunday, December 29th. Provided the event does not sell out, we will accept late registrations Race Day at Packet Pickup; however, late registrants are not guaranteed shirts, sizes, or finisher awards, so register early!! Registration fees increase by $5 at Packet Pickup. Register by Wednesday, December 11th to guarantee your swag!
Race Day
Participants and spectators will enjoy refreshments following the race, including sparkling grape juice and cider to toast the incoming new year!
All participants will receive a custom long-sleeved technical shirt and commemorative finisher award, as well as entry into a raffle to win one of many great prizes provided by ERT’s generous sponsors and partners.
Awards will be given for top male and female in each event. Age group awards will be determined by depth of participant field.
