The course begins in Folsom, under the Folsom Blvd Bridge on the American River Bike Trail, to the west of the Lake Natoma Inn on Gold Lake Drive. The out-and-back course first travels south on the trail through Willow Creek to Nimbus Overlook, turning North and proceeding through Negro Bar. The Marathon turnaround is at Folsom Lake Crossing and Folsom-Auburn Road; the Half Marathon turnaround is at the intersection of the trail and Main Avenue. The 50K will turn around at Granite Bay MS.
The course is a paved bike trail and is certified by the USATF as a Boston Qualifier.

The average temperatures for the area are a high of 67 ⁰F and a low of 47 ⁰F, with some precipitation possible.
Aid stations will be spaced along the course every 3-5 miles. Aid stations will have cold water and Heed electrolyte drink. Several aid stations will have Hammer gels.
The best option for air travel is Sacramento International Airport (SMF), approximately 30 miles west of Folsom. Some airlines fly into Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK), approximately 70 miles south of Folsom.
50K begins at 6:30am
Marathon begins at 7:00am
Half Marathon begins at 7:30am

Race will feature Jaguar disposable chip timing.
There is a 2:30pm cutoff on all events.
Awards will be given to top males and females in the following age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

Late Registration If either race does not sell out, we will accept registration at Packet Pickup and Race Morning. 50K $115, Marathon $105; Half Marathon $75. Race shirts/sizes are not guaranteed for late entrants, so register early!
Runners can switch to different races with 48 hours notice. There are no refunds, rollovers, or transfers to other races.

Packets will be available to pick up Race Day, at the Start/Finish Area, from 6:00-6:45am. However, please use this as a last resort, only.
All participants will receive a technical shirt and custom finisher award (upon completion of the event distance). Awards will be presented for the top three men’s and women’s finishers in each race, as well as top males and females in the following age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for their chance to win one of the raffle prizes courtesy of ERT, its sponsors, and partners. Additional tickets will be available for purchase for $2 each or three for $5. The raffle will be held after the start of the event; winners will be notified upon their completion of the course.
Please plan to arrive no later than fifteen minutes prior to your race start time. If you are picking up your race packet, please arrive no later than 6:45am.
Parking details To Be Announced. There will be plenty of parking for runners and spectators in close proximity to the Start/Finish Area.
Gear check will be available at the Start/Finish Area. Runners must mark their items clearly with their name and place them in the Gear Check area. Gear Check is to be used at the runners’ risk; Race Management is not responsible for any lost, misplaced, or stolen items.
